“Best Taste” at Taste of East Cobb – 2018
Thank you to our fellow East Cobbers who voted for Sterling Estates as “Best Taste” at Taste of East Cobb!
All senior communities will tell you how great their food is, but only Sterling Estates culinary team can boast about winning Taste of East Cobb restaurant competition two out of last three years (2018 & 2016) against some of the finest restaurants in East Cobb!

New Wellness Director – Laura Kelly
We are ecstatic to announce Laura Kelly. Laura brings a unique and evidence-based initiative to our Wellness program. This includes fun and challenging classes such as “Brain Fitness”, which is designed to stimulate various parts of the brain in order to engage dendrite and neuron growth. The “Brain Fitness” program is now part of our wellness model of programming that extends beyond just physical functioning, but also cognitive and emotional health as well.
Recreational therapy promotes engagement, mood and functional movement. Pictures below are from a Group Cross Training we just added to our class offerings. See the pictures below to see our residents in action!

Community-Wide Fitness Assessments
Our sister community in West Cobb came to help with our community-wide Fitness Assessment Day on May 21! There were five assessment stations set up, each one to test either strength, balance, aerobic endurance, agility, or hamstring flexibility. Overall, our residents have done quite well at or strengthening their fitness levels! We are so proud of everyone and have to give credit where credit is due; our residents are simply some of the most determined and toughest you’ll find in East Cobb! They all deserve recognition for their drive and determination.

Spring Open House
We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout for our Spring Open House! It was a evening full of family, good friends, great music, amazing food, and sweet memories!
Our chefs tantalized our taste buds with Prime Rib of Beef, Salmon, Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin, a delightfully eye pleasing array of appetizers such as Cucumber and Salmon Roll-ups, Stuffed Mushrooms, assorted cheeses and more. They topped it off with a mouthwatering, full spread of desserts!
A special thank you to the Mars Hill Porch Pickers for their personal touches and sweet memories made for our residents! They are truly an amazing group of men!
Enjoy this short video on Facebook of our Spring Open House!
