Joel Lanier

Spiritual Care Director

Joel has over 30 years of pastoral experience and has a BA degree in Music Composition from the University of Georgia, a Master of Arts in Religious Education and a Doctorate in Worship Studies.  He plays piano and guitar is passionate about UGA athletics. Joel enjoys spending time with his wife, 4 children and two Shih Tzus.

Joel serves as Spiritual Care Director by splitting his time equally between both East and West Cobb communities.
