Our Assisted Living Suites afford you the ability to choose the level of assistance that’s right for you while continuing to enjoy the independence you cherish. These spacious Suites provide all the comforts you could want in a choice of floor plans from studios to two-bedroom, two-bath suites. All have private baths, kitchenettes, and individual thermostats, most have spacious walk-in closets, and many have delightful views.

To the Staff at Sterling Estates West Cobb:
In early May of this year my husband, William Camp and myself, Betty Camp moved into our new home at Sterling Estates. The transition was tough and an adjustment, but the staff and their kindness have made this time in our lives easier to cope with.

Yesterday, my husband, William, fell as we were getting our morning walk in. He fell on the road and hit his head on the pavement causing lacerations to his lip and his forehead. Once word got to the staff the nurse from the Landmark building and Deana Harris came to our aid immediately. Their quick action in getting emergency help for William was amazing. I want to express my appreciation for the kindness and care we have received here. This situation validated that this is where we need to be, our waiting room until we are called to Heaven.

There are many clinical terms to describe where I was with my role as a member of the sandwich generation: anxious, overwhelmed, fatigued, and stuck. Life is a process of deciding when to hold on, and when to let go; I was avoiding making a necessary decision. It was time to find a new home for my parents. Again.

A funny and welcomed thing happened: I met new people who listened, cared, and had ideas I didn’t dare dream were possible. The team at Sterling Estates is building a unique senior neighborhood in West Cobb that will provide a new and enriching life for my parents. I am filled with hope, compassion, and joy.

Best of all, I had some wonderfully poignant moments with Mother and Dad. We had some important conversations…and I truly laughed for the first time in months.

Who is Assisted Living designed for?

Assisted Living is designed for individuals who may require assistance with activities of daily living such as meals, bathing, dressing, grooming, transportation and medication monitoring. At our Sterling Estates communities a licensed registered nurse and LPN are on staff. Three meals a day with restaurant-style service in our elegant dining room.

At our Sterling Estates communities the monthly rental fee includes all utilities and cable, except telephone. Emergency notification systems with personal pendants & bathroom pull-cords Weekly housekeeping and linen service, as well as personal laundry Laundry facilities available. Small pets are more than welcome (we love them, too).

Can you help me apply for long-term care insurance?

We can help you with both applying and filling out your monthly forms. Many of our residents have a substantial amount of their costs covered through their long-term care insurance.

Are Assisted Living Fees tax deductible?
